Whoa, long time....

OK, I haven't been updating this thing as I should. I've been pretty busy on the distribution end of things and not focused on this. Below is some news, links of interest and a few other relevant things to ABE. Read on if you will!

Hopefully I'll have more to post soon, this has taken me a while as I'm just getting over being sick and have a lot of catch-up to do. If you have sent an email over the last while then I should be getting to it soon and it hasn't been lost due to the .com problems I'm having.

If you haven't seen what the magazine portion of the package looks like then have a peak at the At Both Ends Issuu website. There are a few sample pages up that you can flip through virtually that should give you an idea of what this is all about.

If you're only in search of the new Grade songs and not the rest of the package then you can pick up those tracks at the link below on iTunes. Obviously, I'd like you to pick up the whole package as I see everything as part of a whole but if you only want the Grade songs then please support them at this link.

Here are a few of the reviews I've found online, if you know of any others please let me know.

Razorcake review of the ABE package.

A few reviews and Andy Rice

I'm a little slow to update this thing but here we go with a few scans from MRR and Thrasher. I can die happy knowing that at least a part of me has made it into the pages of one of my favourite skateboard magazines.

Thrasher blurb in Issue #356

MRR zine review in Issue #322

MRR record review in Issue #322.
Maybe not the most accurate review but enjoyable none the less.

Speaking of dying happy, here's a photo of Andy Rice reading At Both Ends. You may know him as Deathwish Inc.'s booking agent extraordinaire or the drummer of Sinking Ships and Meltdown. What you might not know is that at the tender age of 13 he was the vocalist for a little-known band out of Newburg, Oregon known as Minor Effects that addressed issues such as social injustice and partying down through a rap/metal hybrid. Comparisons to Rage Against The Machine, Body Count and even Limp Bizkit are in the ballpark when describing Minor Effects.

Be sure to check out the Minor Effects ad on page 14 of ABE.
